Prospectus

The Government of India launched and implemented the Craftsman Training Scheme in 1950.

Under this scheme, the government offers training on various trades in government /private ITIs across the country. This project is carried out by the Central Government’s Ministry of Skill Development and in Kerala it is implemented by the Industrial Training Department under the Ministry of Labour.

Punalur Bharath Matha Private ITC was established in 1978. This Vocational Training institute has imprinted its own unique stamp among the Technical Training Institutes of Kerala. The institute has been able to maintain a high standard of learning and strict discipline and thereby achieve a lofty place in the field of Vocational Training.

Objectives.

Create skilled labourers for various Industries.

Improvement of Industrial Production Quality with the endeavour of skilled labourers.

Provide Technical proficiency to find self employment.

Resolve the problem of Unemployment by furnishing the educated young men and women with adequate professional training required for various Industries.

Create opportunities to implement ones own ideas.
